Each year, CTLI offers TALKS: The MSU Teaching and Learning Conference. This annual event is open to educators across roles at MSU, including but not limited to faculty members, course instructors, graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants, administrators, researchers, advisors, graduate students, and those working in curriculum, educator development, or student success.
Campus is active at the beginning of May, with events focused on teaching and learning innovation, the evolving role of AI, student success, and graduate teaching support. These annual events offer opportunities for creative crossovers and strategic collaboration. TALKS typically features one day of in-person programming on campus and one day of virtual programming on Zoom. This page will include additional information as we get closer to the event dates.

We strive to keep this conference as low-cost to free as possible. However, to help keep this event free and accessible, we are currently inviting 2027 external sponsors for next year's TALKS to support specific aspects of the conference, such as space bookings, meals, technology services, keynotes, printed materials, and accessibility features like American Sign Language interpretation.
